Duking It Out For Half A Decade

On the hillside of the North Shore, at the legendary Presentation House Theatre, Affair of Honor will take to the stage for a one night only show in support of their upcoming production and as a celebration of 5 years in operation.

That’s right, we are back and training hard for our upcoming production of Jovanni Sy’s The Five Vengeances. This is our biggest and most ambitious project as a company so far, bringing together artists and collectives from across the city to create an out of this world fantastical Kung-fu epic.

The Five Vengeances opens the Shadbolt Centre for the Art's 2022/23 Season.

We will be celebrating the night with our classic showcase of fight performances by some of our ensemble and classic AOH crew, including violence design by Sylvie La Riviere, Jo Jo Svenkeson & Nicholas Yee, and are delighted to be joined by the fighting improv crew ‘Fistful of Kicks’. There will also be a silent auction where you can battle your own bidding war on some incredible items and artwork from Bridge Brewing, Boca Del Lupo, Viktoria Tryfonova, Rapier Wit and many more.

Come and toast to our fifth year as a company, and raise a glass to the perseverance of all artists who have battled through the Pandemic. We are so excited to connect with our audiences and friends again.

Restrictions have eased and while we will still recommend you wear a mask when you're mingling, we are beyond excited to welcome in as many of you as there are seats in the theatre.
